Keeping your roaster clean and well maintained will improve the longevity and safety of your roaster. Chaff can catch on fire easily. Always unplug your roaster before cleaning. Follow your roaster’s manual for specific cleaning instruction. Below are photos of routine cleaning and maintenance.

Chaff and dust build up will depend on frequency, roast degree and batch sizes.

After each roast

  • Clean chaff tray
  • Wipe down cooling tray

Monthly

  • Clean exhaust chute
  • Fans and blowers
